Tour in the Region of Western Greece

In collaboration with the Region of Western Greece and under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports, the Ministry of Civil Protection, and the Union of Greek Regions.

November 18–21, 2025 | Pyrgos | Courtyard of Pyrgos Indoor Gymnasium “VASILAKOPOULOS G.”
Following the organization’s tour in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, The Smile of the Child, in collaboration with the Region of Western Greece, will visit Nafpaktos, Messolonghi, and Pyrgos from November 5 to 21 with its mobile polyclinics ASKLIPIOS I & II and professional staff to provide free services to children and families in the region.
The free services provided include:

Preventive medical and dental check-ups

Interventions for the prevention of abuse, neglect, violence, school bullying, disappearances, running away, safe internet use, and healthy nutrition

Educational workshops
-
Psychosocial support
The Smile of the Child invites everyone, young and old, to get to know the organization and its people and to participate in its activities free of charge!

More about the tour:
The Smile of the Child celebrates 30 years, having supported more than 2,200,000 children and their families and developed a comprehensive range of actions for the holistic support of every child, young person, and their families.
About the tour:
- Co-organized by The Smile of the Child and the Region of Western Greece, with the support of the Municipalities of Nafpaktia, Messolonghi, and Pyrgos.
- Held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports, the Ministry of Civil Protection, and the Union of Greek Regions.
- Implemented with the support of the 6th Health Region of Peloponnese–Ionian Islands–Epirus & Western Greece, the Medical Associations of Aetolia-Acarnania and Ilia, the Dental Associations of Aetolia-Acarnania and Ilia, the Community Centers with Roma Departments of Nafpaktos and Messolonghi.
